I am Phoebe Torres-Lucero. Beloved daughter of my Heavenly Father, the King. Queen of a loving husband & dedicated pastor named King. Queen mother to now three wonderful, smart, active princesses.
This site used to be called Laugh-a-minute Brainy Stories because I would mostly write about funny stories of my kids, but I’ve written about so many other things since then — from family, faith, marriage and relationships, to travel, movies, events and DIY projects. Because of that and because I used to dream of owning my own sari-sari store (a small store attached to your home, that sells all kinds of different stuff) when I was younger, I thought it apt to name my site Phoebe’s Sari-sari Stories.
Hope you enjoy visiting my site and take away some encouragement, some inspiration, maybe even a lesson or two. 🙂
Hi Phoebe,
I’m glad to started a website. You have a lot to share write about parenting and motherhood. Keep them coming!

–wonderful wonderful bright radiant light. may your light shine before men!
I like the meaning of your name, a tower of bright radiant light! Hope to learn from this site too even though I’m not yet a mom.
Yehey!! You have one na rin! Looking forward to more stories from you Phoebs! 🙂
Hi! I really do enjoy reading about your blogs 🙂 Lucero made your name more complete 🙂 you’ve been that way to me anyway and to add light made you even brighter 🙂 Continue to be that light for a lot of us Mom’s to follow your footseteps in trecks of being a Mom. Reading yours makes me feel normal and then putting it together with our Christian life and walk makes things easier to see living to be like Christ (As hard as as I also try). I look forward to reading more!

Today, I had this urge to sent King a msg that I am so proud of him.
A few minutes ago, I checked and read your blog and O-M-G! Is he okey?
Im a good friend of his way back college. We lost touch for along time but he will always be a good & dependable friend to me.
Since then, I know how faithful is he to God and honestly, I sometimes have drawn faith strengthening experiences from him.
He told me that he wants to be a pastor and mentioned about you a couple times before we totally lost in touch… I am so proud of him. Please tell him I said Hi and will include him in my prayers. I will be in touch. 🙂
Take care…Let me know how I can be of any help.

hi ms. phoebe, I’ve been homeschooling my daughter for 7 months now and your site has been a helpful tool for us to learn more about homeschooling, may God continue to extend His marvelous grace to your family!
Thank you so much! I am also surrounded by moms who encourage me, especially during the times that I want to give up, or doubt myself and our decision to homeschool. God’s grace abounds, and I believe we need to be reenergized, re-inspired, and recommitted to homeschooling from time to time. God bless you! 🙂
