School of Rock

King and I were out all afternoon today, getting my license renewed. When I called the house, I found out the girls were watching School of Rock without our permission. They obeyed when they were told to shut it off. Tonight, as we were getting them ready for bed, Danae came out of the bathroom singing one of Jack Black’s songs in the movie…..

“……and the legend of the (rent was) way hard corN!”

King: Hard corn?
Danae: I mean HOT CORN.

Hahaha. 🙂

I am Phoebe Torres-Lucero, wife of a loving husband & my best friend, King, and mother to three wonderful, smart, active princesses who keep me on my toes. Phoebe means bright and radiant. Torres means towers. Lucero means light. Put together, my name speaks of a tower of bright, radiant light. And that is what I hope to be as I write and share my sari-sari stories with you. 😊
