Kids Church with Noelle

Noelle didn’t want me to leave her in Kids Church last Sunday, so I sat in one of the little chairs. After they colored, the teacher called for the kids to sit on the floor with her.

Teacher Joanne: (in preparation for the story telling) Okay kids, what do we do in Kids Church every Sunday? Why do we come to Kids Church?

Kid 1: Dance!

Kid 2: Sing!

Kid 3: Crafts!

Kid 4: Color!

Noelle: (taps teacher on the knee; I wait for her to say something about God) EAT.

Hahahahaha. I should have known. 🙂

I am Phoebe Torres-Lucero, wife of a loving husband & my best friend, King, and mother to three wonderful, smart, active princesses who keep me on my toes. Phoebe means bright and radiant. Torres means towers. Lucero means light. Put together, my name speaks of a tower of bright, radiant light. And that is what I hope to be as I write and share my sari-sari stories with you. 😊
