When Danae and Raerae saw that King and my mom were not in the restaurant (click here for the back story), the two had different ideas.

Danae wanted to FIND A GUARD.

Raerae said that they should STAY IN THE RESTAURANT.

My daughter “won” the argument. They went out, found a guard and told him that they were lost.

I was so proud of my girl for having the presence of mind to ask help from a guard. I was also reassured by the fact that she was with an equally smart friend who, having been lost before, knew it was wise to stay put. Either way, although of course everything would have been so much simpler if they did stay in the restaurant haha, they would have been found because they would have used their head instead of melting down.

Thank God they were together — it made the experience more bearable. Thank God Noelle wasn’t with them too, else it would’ve been a potentially worse situation. Thank God there weren’t many people because it was near closing. Thank God the guards in SM are reliable. Thank God for His mercy. He saved me again! I wouldn’t have been able to forgive myself if anything worse happened to the two girls.
